Terms and Conditions

Refund and Return Policy: Due to the very nature of custom wrap conversions, they are non refundable and non returnable. I do not have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but please contact me with any issues with the construction of your carrier. Deposits on custom conversion slots are non-refundable.

Warranty Period: Your custom conversion is warrantied for you, the original owner, for 30 days against defective stitching and construction. All in-stock carriers carry this same warranty for the original purchaser. 

Measurements and Sizing: All sizes and measurements are taken as accurately as possible. Slight variations may occur. All carrier measurements are within 1" of the stated measurement. This includes custom carriers. I've made every effort to describe each product as accurately as possible. Exact colour matches are not possible due to the variations in individual computer screens. 

Safety Checks: Take the time to check over your carrier before each use. Visually check the stitching, stress-points, buckles, rings, and straps. If your carrier is found to be damaged, contact Blue Hibou immediately to assess the damage and the possibility of repair. All out of warranty repairs and return shipping are the responsibility of the carrier owner.

Payment Terms: Unless you've been lucky enough to snag a V.I.P. slot, payment for your custom carrier is due upon completion. One warning will be sent out 7 days from the invoice date, via either email or Facebook message (following the main method of communication thus far). After 14 days, any unclaimed or non-paid for wraps or carriers left with Blue Hibou will be auctioned off, with surplus proceeds donated to Blue Hibou’s favourite charity, It's A Dog's Life, Dog Fostering and Adoption Network in Kenora, Ontario.

Invoicing and Shipping Info: Return shipping cost and insurance for the conversion fees are invoiced prior to shipping your completed carrier. Blue Hibou uses PayPal for final invoicing, shipping, and tracking of packages - you will receive an email from PayPal indicating your package has shipped. This email will contain the information required for tracking your package. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow up with the shipping notification from PayPal in order to track and add any third party insurance. Blue Hibou does not send out separate emails regarding the shipping or tracking of packages.

Insurance Info: All packages are insured for the cost of the conversion only. Full value of the conversion fee is declared on the customs form, no exceptions. For the purposes of declaration and insurance, the wrap has zero value to Blue Hibou. If you require additional insurance for the wrap itself, please consider using a third party insurance provider. Blue Hibou is not accountable for the value of the wrap during shipping. 

Abandoned Wraps: Any wrap left at Blue Hibou HQ for 90 days without follow through on a custom or semi-custom slot will be considered ‘Abandoned’ and the slot is forfeited. One final email will be sent for reply within 7 days after which the wrap will be sold as a semi-custom slot with proceeds donated to my favourite charity, It's A Dog's Life, Dog Fostering Network in Kenora, Ontario.

Please ensure you have proof of the value of your wrap in the event that a carrier is lost, detained, seized or otherwise kept from your possession. An invoice will be sent with your carrier. Whenever possible, a signature will be required for delivery. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the product can be imported into your country.  Every effort has been made to ensure complicance, but there may be instances where a country may prohibit the import and use of this carrier. For international shipping, any import duty, fees, or taxes are the recipient's responsibility.  For your convenience, potential fees can be estimated here:
